The True Post(Web News)The Hajj rituals are beginning today, with millions of Hajj pilgrims expected to reach Mina before noon.
Millions of Hajj pilgrims from all over the world will remain in Mina until Thursday morning and will be busy with worship. Today, after donning Ihram from their residences, the pilgrims will perform 2 rak’ahs of Nafl prayer and depart for Mina.
Hajj pilgrims will offer Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha prayers in Mina today. Pilgrims will leave for the Arafat plain on 9th Dhul-Hijjah to perform the main pillar of Hajj, Wuquf. After listening to the Hajj sermon on 9th Dhul-Hijjah, pilgrims will offer Zuhr and Asr prayers and then the pilgrims will stand in the Arafat plain until sunset.
After the Maghrib call to prayer, the pilgrims will leave for Muzdalifah from the plain of Arafat without praying. In Muzdalifah, the pilgrims will combine the Maghrib and Isha prayers. In Muzdalifah, the pilgrims will collect pebbles to kill the devil. Then, the pilgrims will spend the night under the open sky in Muzdalifah and will leave for Rami after staying in Muzdalifah on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah.
Pilgrims will throw seven pebbles at the Great Satan and offer sacrifice. Pilgrims will remove their Ihram after getting their heads shaved. On the 11th of Dhul-Hijjah, pilgrims will throw seven pebbles at the Small, Medium, and Great Satan.
After the stoning of the Jamarat, the pilgrims will leave for the Kaaba for the Tawaf pilgrimage. After the Tawaf pilgrimage, the pilgrims will make the Sa’i of Safa and Marwa. After sunset on the 12th of Dhul-Hijjah, the three devils will be stoned.
On 13th Dhul-Hijjah, pilgrims will leave Mina for their homes after stoning the Jamarat.
