
The True Post(Web News) Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited FIA Karachi Zone and chaired a meeting of the concerned officials. He issued instructions on various measures related to Hawala Hundi, agents sending beggars abroad, fake medicines, non-customs goods and currency smuggling.
In the meeting, he said that action should be taken against those involved in Hawala Hundi, regardless of whether they belong to any influential class. He said that no pressure should be tolerated in this matter and action should be taken according to the law.
The Interior Minister said that action should also be taken against the agents who send beggars abroad, and the fugitive agents should be arrested through cooperation with other provinces. He directed that beggars who have been deported from abroad should also be detained.
Mohsin Naqvi also spoke about the counterfeit medicine business and said that action should be taken against those involved in it under the law.
The Federal Interior Minister also ordered action against non-customs items. He said that action should be taken against those passengers who travel abroad with more than 5,000 US dollars as per the regulations.
In the meeting, FIA Karachi Zone Director Noman Siddique gave a briefing on the performance of the organization and the issues faced. Additional Director General FIA South Mujahid Akbar Khan and other senior officials were also present in the meeting
