China’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Geng Shuang, said in his speech that China is deeply concerned about the Israeli actions. He said that an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and allowing humanitarian access are indispensable. In this meeting, he stressed that Arab countries must play a more active and united role in the Palestinian cause so that the voice of the Palestinian people can be heard effectively on the international stage. Xi Jun said that China will continue to communicate with all parties to establish peace in the region and will not support any plan that violates the fundamental rights of the Palestinians.
