Shehbaz Sharif returns after completing Saudi, Qatar and Türkiye visit

The True Post(Web News)Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has completed his three-nation official visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Türkiye and has departed for Pakistan from Antalya.

At Antalya Airport, senior officials of Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs saw off the Prime Minister and the Pakistani delegation, including Ambassador Tolga Bermek, Ambassador Nilüfer Kegciz, Turkish Member of Parliament Burhan Kayatürk, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye Dr. Yousaf Junaid.

The three-day visit included high-level meetings in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Türkiye. During these engagements, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met the leadership of the three brotherly countries and discussed strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing economic cooperation, expanding investment opportunities, and promoting regional peace and stability.

The Prime Minister also participated in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he held meetings with global leaders and delegates from various countries. Discussions focused on regional and global developments, peace efforts, and expanding international cooperation.

The Pakistani delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi, and the Prime Minister’s Spokesperson for Foreign Media, Mohsin Raza.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar described the visit as highly successful, stating that all engagements were completed effectively. He said the visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar were particularly productive, with meaningful discussions held to promote cooperation in multiple sectors.

He further noted that the Antalya Diplomacy Forum has become an important global platform for dialogue on peace, stability, and cooperation. He thanked Türkiye for its hospitality and excellent arrangements, adding that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan played a key role in making the forum a success.
