The True Post (Web News)U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed dissatisfaction over new Iranian ceasefire proposals delivered through Pakistan, stating that the United States will not end military actions until its objectives are fully achieved.
Speaking to the media, President Trump said that communication with Iran is ongoing via telephone, and while Tehran appears interested in a deal, negotiations are not progressing. He claimed that Iran is demanding conditions the United States cannot accept, reiterating that Washington does not want Iran to possess nuclear weapons.
Trump described Iran’s current leadership as “confused,” alleging a lack of internal unity and inconsistent messaging among Iranian officials. He also stated that Iranian leadership appears disorganized and unclear about authority structures within the country.
Once again, the U.S. president acknowledged Pakistan’s role, expressing respect for Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Field Marshal, and appreciating ongoing diplomatic engagement.
In a striking remark, Trump said that during the conflict involving Iran and Israel, the U.S. Navy has been blocking Iranian ports and intercepting ships, oil, and supplies, describing the operations as resembling “piracy,” though he insisted they are part of a strategic campaign rather than games.
He further claimed that Iran’s military capabilities have been severely weakened, stating that its air force and navy have been effectively destroyed and its defense systems disabled. According to Trump, a large portion of Iran’s missile infrastructure has also been neutralized.
The president reiterated that the United States will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons, warning that such weapons could threaten Israel, Europe, and potentially the United States.
Trump also alleged significant casualties among Iranian leadership and protestors, while claiming that ongoing instability reflects a major shift in Iran’s internal structure.
He added that multiple Iranian figures have reached out with proposals for negotiations, and the United States is working to identify suitable counterparts for talks, although no substantial progress has been made so far.
