He added that Iran cannot be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons, and that negotiations are essential for stability in the region.
U.S. President Donald Trump also stated that oil supply through the Strait of Hormuz is continuing and that a large number of oil tankers are passing through the route.
He said that if the situation in the region improves, global oil prices could decrease further, and additional reductions may also be seen.
According to him, his government is closely monitoring the situation and is working to reduce tensions so that energy flows remain stable and normal.
