The True Post(Web News) Ibrahim Zolfaqari, spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Force, a major unit affiliated with the Iranian armed forces, has issued a stern warning to the United States.
He said that any aggression or attempt to occupy Iran would result in the “humiliating imprisonment” of American soldiers. According to Iranian state media, in his statement, Ibrahim Zolfaghari said that Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened to launch a ground operation against Iran and seize islands in the Persian Gulf, but if such an attempt is made, American commanders and soldiers will face severe consequences. He said in a very harsh tone that American soldiers will be made “food for sharks” in the Persian Gulf.
The spokesman added that Trump only understands the language of force and that his policies have harmed not only the United States but also Europe and especially Asian countries. He accused Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, of Trump becoming a “pawn” under pressure from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He said that Trump is the world’s “most lying president” and that his statements are unstable and unreliable.
On the other hand, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis-e-Shura), Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, has also strongly criticized the United States, saying that Washington is actually using diplomatic efforts to hide preparations for a possible military action. He warned that any move against Iran will lead to serious consequences, and the Iranian forces are fully prepared. “Our young men are waiting for you,” he said in his statement.
It should be noted that in recent days, tensions between the United States and Iran have been increasing, however, according to some reports, indirect negotiations are also underway between the two countries, in which Pakistan is playing the role of mediator. Experts say that tough statements on the one hand and diplomatic contacts on the other hand reflect the complex situation in the region. According to international observers, if tensions increase further, it could have effects not only on the Middle East but also on global peace and the economy.
