According to aviation sources, the airspace was closed for 48 hours and a regular NOTAM was also issued.
Aviation sources further said that flight operations from Islamabad International Airport were suspended until further notice, flight operations at Lahore Airport were also suspended.

More than 25 flights, including to Qatar, Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Riyadh, were canceled. A PIA spokesperson said that PIA has canceled flights for 12 hours. Passengers should contact PIA’s call centers.
