The True Post(Web News) The four-day work week model in the UK is no longer just an experiment but is becoming a permanent policy.
After a successful six-month experiment overseen by the 4 Day Week Foundation, 17 companies have decided to permanently adopt the model, bringing the total number of companies to 234. According to experts, this model has not only improved the mental health of employees but also increased work productivity. Research has shown that employees complete more work in fewer days, as they are more motivated with less stress and better personal time.
Four-day work reduced mental stress among employees, reduced sick leave and increased overall company performance. Employee job satisfaction rates also reached 90 percent.
Several companies say that despite fewer working days, there has been no decline in profits, and in fact, some sectors have seen an increase. This model has also helped in new recruitment as more people are preferring to work in these institutions. Experts say that if this trend continues, in the future the majority of companies in the UK will adopt the principle of a four-day work week, which will bring not only economic but also social improvements.
