
The True Post (Web News) Prime Minister Mark Carney and US President Donald Trump are expected to meet on Monday, June 16, 2025, ahead of the G7 summit in Kananaskis, Alberta.
The meeting will last from June 15 to 17. At this meeting in Kansas, the two leaders will discuss important issues such as global trade, the Ukraine war, Middle East tensions, and economic relations with China.Earlier, on May 6, 2025, Prime Minister Karni and President Trump met in the White House, in which the two leaders discussed the renewal of the Canadian -United States Mexico Treaty and new economic and security agreements.
Carney termed the meeting as very constructive and said that Canada is not for sale. Other prominent world leaders will also attend the G -Seven Rahbi meeting, including British Prime Minister Cairo Starmer, German Chancellor Frederick Mirz, French President Emmanuel Macron, Japanese Prime Minister Shi’ite and Prime Minister Shijiyar.
In addition, invited leaders like Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelannski, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Brazilian President Lola da Silva will also attend the meeting.
The meeting will try to create consensus on global economic and security issues, though President Trump’s unilateral trade policies and tensions with allies are unlikely to issue a joint declaration.
