Famine Situation In Gaza Worsens, 7 More People Die Of Hunger

The True Post  (Web News) The humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian territory of Gaza has intensified.

Seven more people have died of malnutrition in the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of people who have died from famine and malnutrition since the start of the Israel-Hamas war (2023) to 154, including 89 children.
This information was released by the Hamas-run Ministry of Health, according to which the situation in Gaza has become extremely serious due to malnutrition and a severe lack of basic services. Global food security experts working with the United Nations warned yesterday that the worst-case scenario of famine in Gaza has now become a reality. These experts said that if urgent and effective measures are not taken, the death toll could increase dangerously.
On the other hand, Israeli authorities claim that they are not imposing any restrictions on the access of aid supplies to Gaza. However, this position of Israel has been rejected by the United Nations, European allies and aid organizations operating in Gaza. They say that the realities on the ground are the opposite, and the supply of aid supplies is constantly hampered.
International organizations have appealed to the international community to intervene immediately and provide emergency aid to prevent famine in Gaza, otherwise further loss of human lives will be inevitable. Gazans do not have access not only to food but also to clean drinking water, medical facilities, and basic necessities of life, which puts millions of people at risk. The United Nations, the Red Cross, the World Food Program, and other international organizations agree that if an immediate humanitarian corridor is not opened, Gaza could become one of the worst famine-stricken areas in the world in the coming days.
