The True Post (Web News) Gaza is once again bathed in blood. 52 more Palestinians have been martyred in the last 24 hours due to Israeli aggression.
The martyrs include 7 unarmed Palestinians who were waiting for aid and hoping for some humanitarian sympathy or relief. Thus, the total number of martyrs has reached 64,605, while 163,319 people have been injured.
These figures do not reflect a common conflict or small-scale fighting, but rather a tragedy that is a clear sign of genocide. Every day and every moment, the doomsday is being unleashed on the inhabitants of Gaza. Israeli forces once again demonstrated their aggressive approach, reducing the tallest building in Gaza City, **’Al-Salam Tower**, to a pile of rubble.
The building was not only used for residential purposes, but also housed offices, small shops and centers of welfare organizations. With its demolition, dozens of families were displaced, and hundreds of people lost their means of livelihood. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has once again threatened that the people of Gaza should leave the area immediately, otherwise the Israeli army will raze all the high-rise buildings in Gaza to the ground. Netanyahu has further indicated that the ground operation** will be expanded in addition to the air strikes in Gaza. The situation in Gaza is already heartbreaking, but the atrocities of Israeli forces are also ongoing in the West Bank. In the latest operation, two Palestinian children were martyred under the guise of a search operation. This act is clearly a serious violation of human rights, because targeting children is not only inhumane but also against international law. The continuous bombing and ground attacks in Gaza have paralyzed all aspects of life.
Hospital rubble pile
Health centers have been destroyed, making it impossible to treat the injured.
Severe shortage of medicines
Thousands of injured people are dying in agony due to lack of medical facilities.
Food crisis:
Israel has tightened the siege, making basic necessities like bread and water scarce.
Electricity and communications suspended
The city is plunged into darkness, almost completely cut off from the world.
The silence and double standards of the international community
The Palestinian people are constantly looking to the international community for help, but major powers and international organizations have so far failed to play an effective role. The double standards of the Western world have been exposed, where human rights are limited to specific countries or regions. UN resolutions are mere paperwork, while the policies of the European Union and the United States appear to support Israel. Human rights activists and civil society organizations around the world are protesting, but decisive action is lacking.
Despite the severe atrocities, the Palestinian people have not lost their courage. The residents of Gaza are constantly appealing to the world for justice and expressing their determination to stand firm on their land. The younger generation is full of the spirit of resistance, while women and children are also involved in the struggle to protect their basic rights.
