The True Post(Web News) Senior Muslim League (N) leader and Senator Irfan Siddiqui has said that if former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s children want to run a political movement within the ambit of the law, no one will have any objection to it.
Irfan Siddiqui said that if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan wants his children to enter politics, then they will have to return to Pakistan. If they want to stay in Pakistan and become part of any kind of political activity or movement, then they should do it in a constitutional and legal manner, no one will object. He added that Imran Khan’s release is not in the hands of his family, but this matter will be decided only through legal aspects and court decisions. Imran Khan’s sisters and children cannot be a guarantee for his release.
Senator Irfan Siddiqui, while talking about the current political situation, said that the government is not bringing change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Asif Ali Zardari is playing a good role as the President of the country. He said that Zardari is a politician with understanding and insight who has not created any kind of problems for the government. He rejected the impression that there is any tension between the PPP and the PML-N, and said that the PPP is our ally, why would we want to destabilize the system? On the question regarding the rising prices of sugar, Irfan Siddiqui said that sugar has been imported from abroad** so that its shortage and inflation can be controlled in the country. He said that the government is taking various steps to provide relief to the people.
