Reports say that India has already closed several airports due to fear of a retaliatory attack from Pakistan, due to which the Mumbai Indians team is stranded in Chandigarh. A match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals is also scheduled in Dharamsala on Thursday. Both the teams are already based in the city. The board is waiting for government instructions in this regard. On the other hand, the Gujarat Cricket Association has claimed that they have received a bomb threat to blow up the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad through an anonymous email, which has been reported to the police. To avoid a retaliatory strike from Pakistan, India’s extremist ruling party BJP has put the country on high security alert while additional personnel have also been deployed for IPL matches.
