Iran-Israel war: European foreign ministers decide to hold nuclear talks with Tehran

The True Post (Web News)Efforts are underway to resolve the Iran-Israel war issue through talks, with European foreign ministers deciding to hold nuclear talks with Tehran.

The news agency claimed that European foreign ministers have decided to hold nuclear talks with Iran. The talks will begin in Geneva on Friday. The foreign ministers of Britain, France, and Germany will hold the talks.

The news agency further says that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will participate in the talks, which include American consent for negotiations.

According to a foreign news agency, the European foreign ministers will first meet with the European Union’s top diplomat, Kaya Kalas, at the permanent mission of Germany, after which a joint meeting will be held with the Iranian foreign minister.

German diplomatic sources say that the negotiations are taking place with the coordination of the United States and their aim is to obtain strong assurances from Iran that it will use nuclear energy only for peaceful civilian purposes. After the negotiations, a “structured dialogue” has also been organized at the expert level.

Meanwhile, Israel maintains that it wants to eliminate Tehran’s ability to build nuclear weapons, while Iran has consistently denied that its nuclear program is military in nature.

European diplomatic sources say that if Iran is willing to cooperate, there may be an opportunity to reduce tensions in the region, otherwise there is a risk that the situation will worsen.

Iran fired missiles and drones at Israel for the 11th time under Operation “Ode to Sadiq III”, using the “Sijal” missile for the first time.

According to Iranian media, the Revolutionary Guards said in a statement that the latest missile attack on Israel used the long-range ‘Sajil’ ballistic missile, which is a two-stage solid-fuel missile, for the first time.

Military correspondent Doron Kadosh quoted an Israeli security source as saying that the Iranian Sajil missile that targeted the Israeli territory of Dan Block was unusual in terms of its weight and payload, that is, the amount of explosives it contained, and it was a larger missile than usual. Iran has fired a small number of missiles of this type at Israel.

This missile, which carries a warhead weighing more than 500 kilograms, can hit targets at a distance of 2,000 to 2,500 kilometers.

The Revolutionary Guards have said that Iranian missiles will not allow the Israelis to spend a single moment outside their underground shelters, that targeted Iranian missile attacks will continue, and that we have opened the gates of hell for the Zionists.

In addition, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has declared war on Israel, saying that “the time for mercy on the Zionist terrorist state is over” and “a harsh response is inevitable.”

According to the Times of Israel, Ayatollah Khamenei said in two important messages on the social networking website X (formerly Twitter) that the war has begun and that “
the Zionist state will not be spared.”

One post also included a picture of a man entering the gate of a fort carrying a sword, which some commentators have interpreted as the conquest of the fort of Khyber, giving the statement a religious and historical dimension.

On the other hand, the Israeli military, while claiming airstrikes in Tehran and other Iranian areas, has said that we will now target missile systems and their storage sites.

According to Iranian media reports, the Israeli military has targeted an area near Iran’s Khandab nuclear facility. The Khandab nuclear facility was evacuated before the Israeli attack and there is no risk of radiation from the nuclear facility.

In addition, the Israeli Defense Forces said that attacks were carried out in three phases tonight, during which important military installations such as centrifuges were targeted.

Iranian media claims that during the attack in Tehran, Iran’s defense system thwarted Israel’s intentions and intervened, destroying the missiles in mid-air.

The Iranian government has shut down internet and mobile services across the country in response to cyber attacks by Israel, while temporary restrictions have been imposed on the internet.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Communications said that they are prepared to impose temporary restrictions on the internet across the country to protect the Iranian people and the war against Israel.

Earlier yesterday, Iran accused the world’s largest messaging platform, WhatsApp, owned by Meta, of sharing user data with Israel and asked its citizens to delete WhatsApp.

Iran has accused WhatsApp of sharing Iranian user data with Israel amid rising tensions in the region, but the Iranian government has not provided any evidence in this regard.

US President Donald Trump has approved a plan to attack Iran but has not issued a final order.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump told senior advisers on Tuesday night that he had approved a plan to attack Iran but had not yet given a final order to see whether Iran would abandon its nuclear program.

The report was published by the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday, citing three informed sources.

According to the report, Iran’s main nuclear facility, Fordow, is a potential target for a US attack, which is located inside a mountain and, according to military experts, can only be targeted with a very powerful bomb.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht Ravanchi has said that we do not believe in nuclear weapons. If the United States joins war with Israel, we will have no choice but to retaliate.

In an interview with American TV, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi said bluntly that if the United States joins the war with Israel, we will have no choice but to respond. Wherever we see the necessary target, we will take action. This is very clear and straightforward because we will take action in self-defense.

The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister said that we do not believe in nuclear weapons, nuclear weapons have no place in our defense policy, but rather we believe that the world would be a better place without nuclear weapons.

Iran has denied President Trump’s claim of meeting Iranian officials at the White House.

The Iranian mission to the United Nations says that no Iranian official has ever knocked on the door of the White House and said that Iran does not accept peace under pressure, especially with a warmonger who is proving himself important.

It should be remembered that while speaking to the media at the White House, Trump said that Iran has asked to talk, I said it is too late now, they said they want to come to the White House.
