Iran: New US Sanctions Will Not Bow To Bullying

Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga, during US President Donald Trump’s visit to the Gulf countries, strongly criticized Tehran, saying, “Are you here to intimidate us? We will not bow to bullying.”

In Saudi Arabia, Donald Trump said that he wanted to make a deal with Iran, but if no deal was reached, he would impose severe economic sanctions on Iran.

On the other hand, the United States has imposed new sanctions on Iran’s ballistic missile program. The Trump administration has also imposed numerous sanctions on individuals and entities linked to Iran’s oil industry and nuclear program in recent weeks.

The United States has imposed new sanctions on 6 individuals and 12 companies supporting Iran’s ballistic missile program, including several Chinese citizens.

In addition, a senior advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader has announced that Tehran is ready to re-sign the nuclear deal if economic sanctions imposed by US President Donald Trump are completely lifted.

According to Ali Shamkhani, a senior advisor to the Iranian Supreme Leader, Iran will abandon its current stockpile of enriched uranium, provided the United States accepts Iranian conditions.

He said that Iran is also willing to limit uranium enrichment to civilian levels, but for this, the United States must completely lift sanctions.

Ali Shamkhani added that if an agreement is reached, Iran would also be willing to grant international inspectors access to its nuclear facilities.
