Israeli Missile Strike Kills 10 Children at Water Distribution Center

The True Post(Web News) Israeli airstrikes on Gaza continued on Sunday, targeting a crowded market and a water distribution center, killing at least 95 Palestinians, including 10 children, according to Palestinian medical and government sources.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the total number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since the start of Israel’s military operations has now reached 58,026, with more than half being women and children. Additionally, over 138,500 people have been injured during the ongoing conflict.

One of Sunday’s deadliest attacks occurred in the Nusra refugee camp, where an Israeli missile struck a water collection point. The site was crowded with families, and at least 10 children were martyred while waiting to collect drinking water. Seventeen others were reportedly injured in the attack.

The Israeli military claimed the strike was aimed at a Palestinian militant, but said a technical error caused the missile to deviate from its intended target. However, this claim could not be independently verified.

In a separate strike on a market in Gaza City, at least 17 Palestinians were killed, including renowned doctor Ahmed Qandil, as reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

These attacks come amid an escalating humanitarian crisis. Due to the ongoing Israeli blockade, most water purification and sanitation facilities in Gaza have shut down, forcing residents to travel long distances under constant threat to reach the few remaining water sources.

According to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), the blockade and war have pushed 2.1 million people in Gaza to the brink of famine. On Sunday, the agency confirmed the death of another infant due to malnutrition.
