The True Post (Web News)Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued a stern warning, saying that any future military attack on Iran will be met with a much harsher response than before. He stated that Iran’s previous retaliation was only the beginning, and the real show of force is yet to come.
In a televised address, Khamenei said:
“Our nation is standing against the United States and its Zionist puppet regime — and that is a significant stance. If there is another attack, we will respond with a much greater strike than the one we launched on the Al-Udeid base.”
Last month, Iran fired missiles at the U.S. military base in Al-Udeid, Qatar, which is considered one of the most sensitive American bases in the Middle East. The strike came after Israeli and American forces launched attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, effectively igniting a conflict.
The United States, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom are pressuring Iran to resume nuclear negotiations and have set a deadline at the end of August. If talks do not resume by then, the United Nations may reimpose strict international sanctions on Iran.
Iran’s parliament has also taken a firm stance, declaring that no negotiations can take place if the U.S. insists on preconditions.
