Pakistan’s Plan To Send Two Citizens Into Space Is Ready

The True Post(Web News) Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has said that Pakistan has prepared a plan to send two of its citizens into space next year.

For this purpose, a cooperation agreement has been signed between the Pakistani space agency Suparco and the China Manned Space Agency. Under the agreement, two Pakistani candidates will be given special training at the Chinese “Astronaut Center”, where one of them will be selected as a scientific payload specialist. The selection and training process has begun this year and this phase is likely to be completed by 2026.
The selected Pakistani astronaut will be sent to the Chinese space station, where he will conduct various scientific experiments. These experiments will be related to biology, medicine, fluid mechanics, materials studies, environmental science, astronomy and other scientific fields.
Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, while confirming this historic program, said that Pakistan is making every effort to send its first astronaut to the Chinese space station by 2026. He added that this initiative will be a major milestone in Pakistan’s scientific and technological sector, which will instill new enthusiasm for research and space science among the youth. This will be the first time that a Pakistani citizen will officially go into space and become part of the global space community, which will be a historic and proud moment for the country.
