PM Shehbaz Meets Saudi Crown Prince in Riyadh

The True Post (Web News)Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh in a warm and cordial atmosphere.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, a joint communiqué regarding the meeting between the two leaders is expected shortly.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and senior members of both countries’ cabinets were also present at the meeting. The discussions focused on matters of mutual interest, particularly on enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, and various other sectors.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Riyadh on the special invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to attend the 9th Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference.

At King Khalid International Airport, he was received by Riyadh’s Deputy Governor Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq.

The high-level delegation accompanying the Prime Minister includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi and Bilal bin Saqib.

The FII Conference in Riyadh brings together world leaders, investors, policymakers, and global experts to discuss sustainable development, economic inclusion, innovation, and shifting geopolitical trends.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will present Pakistan’s perspective on these key issues and hold meetings with Saudi leadership to further strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and human resource development.

He will also meet with world leaders and heads of international organizations attending the conference to explore new opportunities for investment and sustainable development in Pakistan.
