According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in various cities of Punjab, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Gujranwala and Sialkot. Cloudy weather will also occur in Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad.
Rains are also likely in the districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Dust storms have been predicted in western and southern Pakistan, especially Balochistan. There is a risk of damage to buildings, vehicles and power lines due to strong winds and dust storms.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a dust storm alert.
