The tragic accident occurred at 10 p.m. in the 0-100 block of Inverness Square SE, where a vehicle hit a teenage girl and fled the scene. According to police, the girl was rushed to the hospital with a fractured leg and other serious injuries. The girl is in critical but stable condition. Authorities have released a preliminary description of the vehicle involved in the incident, saying it was a silver Toyota that fled the scene after the crash.
