The True Post (Web News)Security forces have killed three more Indian-supported terrorist militants during a clearance operation in the Sumbaza area of Zhob district, bringing the total number of terrorists eliminated in the four-day operation to 50.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation conducted from August 7 to 9 resulted in the deaths of 47 militants. On the night between August 10 and 11, security forces again launched a successful operation near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Sumbaza, eliminating three additional terrorists affiliated with the Fitanah-ul-Hindustan group.
During the operations, a large cache of weapons, explosives, and other explosive materials were recovered from the terrorists. The Pakistan Army emphasized its commitment to securing the country and vowed to thwart every attempt to disturb peace, stability, and progress.
President Asif Ali Zardari praised the security forces for their professional skill, bravery, and determination, calling the operation a clear testament to their capabilities. He affirmed that the nation stands firmly behind the armed forces in the fight against terrorism and vowed that the war against terror will continue with full strength until its complete eradication.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also congratulated the officers and personnel involved in the operation. He reiterated that the fight against terrorism would persist until the country is entirely free from these threats. The Prime Minister acknowledged the relentless efforts of the Pakistan Armed Forces to clear the land of terrorists, expressing the nation’s deep respect and support for them.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for their professional capabilities and successful operations against the Fitanah-ul-Hindustan terrorists in Zhob. He stated that the nation views these achievements with great pride and reaffirmed the country’s unity behind the forces working to eliminate Indian-supported terrorist conspiracies aimed at destabilizing peace in Balochistan.
This comprehensive operation signals a significant blow to terrorist activities in the region and reinforces Pakistan’s resolve to maintain security and peace throughout its territories.
