Tdap Corruption Case: Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani Acquitted Of All Charges

The True Post (Web News) The Federal Anti-Corruption Court acquitted Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani of all TDAP mega corruption cases.

The hearing of the TDAP cases in the Federal Anti-Corruption Court was held in Karachi, during which Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani also appeared in court.The court acquitted Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani of 14 corruption cases, while all other accused in the case were also acquitted.

The court said that we are also deciding in the cases that came to us from the High Court. We heard each one individually.Speaking to the media along with Yousuf Raza Gilani after the hearing of the case, senior lawyer Farooq H. Naik said that 26 cases were filed in 2013 and 2014, all of which contained the same allegation, namely, receiving Rs 5 million for subsidy in TDAP. The FIA filed the case on the instructions of one person. Yousuf Raza Gilani was on bail in 10 cases and the FIA declared him a fugitive.

Farooq H. Naik said that the court has acquitted Yousuf Raza Gilani in all cases. False cases were made against Yousuf Raza Gilani. The court did justice, for which we are grateful to the judge.Yousaf Raza Gilani said that false cases were made against me, Farooq H. Naik fought the case in the best possible way, thank God that today the court has honorably acquitted him in all cases.

He said that I am an ally of those who made the cases, I cannot leave them. Legislation should be made, if there is no decision, the case should be closed.It should be remembered that the FIA had registered 26 cases of TDAP mega corruption against Yousuf Raza Gilani. Yousuf Raza Gilani has already been acquitted in 12 cases, while today the court acquitted Yousuf Raza Gilani in 14 cases.

The investigation into the TDAP corruption cases began in 2009, the FIA began registering the cases in 2013, and Yousaf Raza Gilani was named as an accused in the final challan of the cases in 2015.
