The True Post(Web News) A “Thanksgiving Day” was observed at the Pakistani High Commission in Ottawa to pay tribute to the entire Pakistani nation and armed forces for their deep national unity and bravery during “Operation Banyan Marsus” and “Battle of Haq.”
Pakistani diaspora and friends of Pakistan attended the ceremony at the High Commission premises in Ottawa. Special prayers were offered for the martyrs who laid down their lives in defense of the motherland. On this occasion, High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem praised the continued resolve of the entire country, led by the leadership of Pakistan and the brave armed forces, against Indian aggression. Praising Pakistan’s restraint and excellent response, he also appreciated the friendly countries that played their role. He also stressed the need for dialogue between Pakistan and India to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions and the aspirations of the people.
