The True Post (Web News) Canada has invited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the G-7 summit.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has called up Prime Minister Modi and invited him to attend the summit. Narendra Modi has given this information by posting on X. Modi thanked Carney for the invitation and congratulated him on winning the Canadian elections.
He also said that he is looking forward to meeting Carney at the summit. The summit will be held in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada from June 15 to 17. India has received this invitation just 8 days before the start of the summit. Several media reports had said that Canada is not inviting India for the summit. The reason for this was considered to be the deterioration of relations between the two countries. India has been participating in the summit as a guest since 2019.
