The True Post (Web News) High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem attended the Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs (OPEN) Annual Business Conference in Toronto on November 15, 2025.
Which is known as an important and key event for the Pakistani business community in Canada. This OPEN Toronto event brings together entrepreneurs, executives, investors and various professionals of Pakistani origin every year to exchange experiences, explore new business opportunities and promote cooperation. The main theme of this year’s conference was “Tomorrow’s Business: What Will You Build?”, which focused on innovation, modern business strategies and collaboration. The aim was to provide participants with guidance to create future-oriented business plans and strengthen their position in the market through innovation. Addressing the participants, High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem emphasized the important role of the Pakistani business community in strengthening business ties between the economies of Pakistan and Canada. He said that Pakistani entrepreneurs can not only increase bilateral investment opportunities but also promote economic relations between the two countries. The High Commissioner detailed Pakistan’s emerging sectors such as technology, agriculture, energy and industrial investment opportunities and said that the teams of the High Commission and the three consulates are there to provide all possible facilities to the business community. During the conference, participants discussed business opportunities, challenges and joint projects, while highlighting modern business trends, investment strategies and various aspects of cooperation to promote bilateral relations. The High Commissioner said that through the positive role of the Pakistani business community, Pakistan-Canada economic relations can become more stable and beneficial.
