The True Post(Web News)U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that Iran has fully reopened the Strait of Hormuz and that negotiations with Tehran are progressing well. He added that talks will continue over the weekend as diplomatic efforts intensify.
Speaking at a ceremony, Trump said that several key points have already been agreed upon and that he does not believe the remaining differences are significant. He expressed confidence that once an agreement is finalized, blockades will be lifted immediately. He also claimed that the United States has achieved 100 percent of its objectives in the Iran conflict.
Trump further asserted that Iran will never be allowed to possess nuclear weapons. He said the U.S. will secure Iran’s nuclear materials and even recover remnants from destroyed nuclear facilities. He also emphasized that no financial transactions are involved in the process.
The U.S. President remarked that NATO had contacted him, stating that while the United States does not need NATO, NATO needs the U.S. He also commented that “a very smart person is coming to the White House.”
During his speech, Trump expressed gratitude toward Pakistan and praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, calling them “great personalities” and thanking them for their role.
He also reiterated his earlier claims of helping to stop multiple conflicts, including between Pakistan and India, stating that his efforts saved between 35 to 50 million lives and that he considers himself a “man of peace.”
