An Independence Day ceremony was organized at the Indian Embassy in Washington, where Sikhs surrounded the embassy building in protest.
The protesters raised Khalistan flags, chanted slogans of “Death to India” and “Killer Modi”, and tore the Indian tricolor into pieces and threw them in front of the embassy.
Fearful of the protesters, Indian diplomatic staff called the police, who remained at the scene for several hours.
On this occasion, the head of the Khalistan Council, Dr. Sindhu, said that tomorrow there will be a Khalistan referendum in Washington. Thousands of Sikhs are arriving to vote in the referendum. The day is not far when Indian Punjab will be liberated and Khalistan will be created.
