The True Post (Web News)Prime Minister Mark Carney delivered his first speech in the House of Commons. Carney is the MP elected from the Nepean riding of Ottawa. He began his speech by thanking his members.
He then thanked all Canadians who not only expressed confidence in this government but also in their representatives and elected them to represent them in the House.
Carney thanked the new Speaker of the House, Francis Scarpelli, and said he had learned a lot from all the MPs and the Speaker. He accepted that he could make mistakes and would continue to correct them in due course.
