Pakistanis stranded in Iran reach Islamabad on special flight

The True Post (Web News) A special plane of the national airline has arrived in Islamabad from Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, carrying Pakistani passengers for the safe return of Pakistanis stranded in Iran.

Acording to the spokesperson, the first special flight of the national airline carrying Pakistanis stranded in Iran reached Islamabad from Ashgabat. 107 passengers stranded in Iran reached their homeland at 3 am through the national airline’s special flight PK 9552.

Due to the closure of Iranian airspace, Pakistani citizens there had reached Ashgabat, Turkmenistan by land route. The Pakistani embassies in Iran and Turkmenistan played a key role in this entire process.

The special flight of the national airline had departed on the instructions of the Government of Pakistan

Passengers appreciated the timely action of the government and the national airline and termed it commendable, saying that the national airline’s provision of services in the interests of the country in difficult times is a continuation of decades of tradition.
