The True Post (Web News) Israel escalates atrocities in Gaza, 71 more Palestinians martyred, many injured while waiting for aid
The Israeli atrocities on Gaza continue unabated. The latest bombing killed 71 more unarmed Palestinians, including 42 who were waiting for help. Qatari broadcaster Al Jazeera quoted hospital sources as saying that the areas targeted by the Israeli army included areas where people were queuing for food and medical aid. The total number of martyrs in Gaza after this horrific bombing has exceeded 59,700, while the number of injured has reached 144,477.
On the other hand, another 127 Palestinians have died in Gaza due to severe food shortages and famine, including 85 innocent children. These deaths were due to lack of food, weakness and lack of medical facilities. According to the World Food Program, one-third of the population of Gaza has been suffering from starvation for several days. The US aid agency USAID has clarified in its report that there is no evidence so far that US aid has been withheld or stolen by Hamas, as was being claimed in Israeli propaganda. US Democratic Senator **Cory Booker** expressed serious concern about the situation in Gaza, saying:
