U.S. Approves $8.6 Billion Arms Sales to Middle East Allies

The True Post (Web News)The United States has approved the sale of advanced weapons and military equipment worth $8.6 billion to several Middle Eastern allies, according to international news agencies.

The approved deals include arms and defense systems for Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Israel, as confirmed by the U.S. State Department.

Under the agreements, Kuwait will receive a $2.5 billion battle command system along with related equipment. Israel has been approved for the purchase of advanced precision strike weapons systems valued at approximately $992.4 million.

Qatar will acquire Patriot missile systems worth $4.01 billion, significantly strengthening its air defense capabilities. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates has been approved to purchase advanced precision strike weapons valued at $147.6 million.

Officials say these sales are part of ongoing defense cooperation between the United States and its regional allies aimed at enhancing military readiness and security in the Middle East.
