Gulf Countries Should Not Allow Their Territory to Be Used Against Iran, Iranian Foreign Ministry Says

The True Post (Web News) The Iranian Foreign Ministry has issued a strong warning to Gulf countries in the wake of the alleged US aggression, asking them not to allow their territory, airspace and facilities to be used for any military action against Iran.

The Foreign Ministry statement said that Iran will not hesitate to exercise its natural and legal right to self-defense. If Iran’s security or sovereignty is threatened, the country reserves the right to take all necessary measures to defend itself. The statement warned that Iran could target the source of attacks against it, military bases used in the attacks, logistics centers and support facilities as potential targets.
The statement added that centers or facilities that will be used in operations against Iran can be targeted under a defensive strategy.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has called on Gulf countries not to allow their territory or facilities to be used by the United States and Israel to plan, organize, execute or provide any kind of support for attacks against Iran. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is the legal, moral and neighborly responsibility of the Gulf countries to prevent their borders from being used for any aggressive purpose. The statement added that the countries of the region have the responsibility not to engage in any action against Iran, as such actions could pose a serious threat to the peace and stability of the region.
Iran also expressed its determination to spare no effort in using its defense capabilities to protect regional security and stability, but also attaches importance to the peaceful resolution of conflicts. According to analysts, Iran’s statement came in the context of increasing tensions in the region and is intended to warn the Gulf countries against becoming parties to a possible military conflict. Iran maintains that using the territory of any country for actions against it could be dangerous for regional peace.
