The Ture Post (Web News) — Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Iran does not seek to expand conflict in the Middle East but will take all necessary measures to defend its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity if the country faces any threat.
Peace Is Iran’s Priority
According to Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB, President Pezeshkian made the remarks while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the second phase of Iran’s National Family Medicine and Referral System project.
He emphasized that Iran’s primary objective is to preserve peace, stability, and national development, adding that the country has no desire for a broader regional conflict.
No Compromise on National Security
The Iranian president stated that while Tehran is committed to promoting peace, it will not compromise on its national security or territorial sovereignty.
He stressed that Iran remains fully prepared to defend its borders and respond appropriately to any external threat.
Call for National Unity
Pezeshkian urged the Iranian people and government institutions to strengthen national unity and internal stability, describing public solidarity as a key factor in protecting the country from external pressure and interference.
He said a united society would make it more difficult for adversaries to exploit internal divisions or undermine national security.
Reforms and Development to Continue
The president also reaffirmed his government’s commitment to continuing reforms and development initiatives across various sectors.
He noted that strengthening domestic capabilities and improving public services remain essential priorities to ensure Iran is better prepared for future challenges while maintaining regional stability.
The remarks come amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East, where diplomatic efforts continue alongside growing security concerns.
