Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to maintain its plan to march towards Islamabad on September 27, making it clear that the party will proceed with the planned protest even if a court ruling goes against it or its leaders and workers are arrested.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the PTI Core Committee, where members reviewed the political and legal situation surrounding the September 27 protest and Islamabad march.
PTI Maintains Decision
According to sources, the Core Committee discussed the preparations for the September 27 protest in detail and expressed its determination not to change the decision to march towards Islamabad despite possible obstacles.
Sources said the meeting also discussed the possibility of a court order restricting the march. Even if such an order is issued, party workers have been instructed to remain prepared to come out on September 27.
The leadership reviewed the prevailing political situation and possible measures that could be taken by the government to prevent the march.
Arrests Will Not Change the Plan
According to sources within the Core Committee, the party has also decided to proceed with the march even in the event of arrests.
The leadership considered various possible scenarios and discussed alternative strategies to deal with arrests and potential restrictions on routes leading to Islamabad.
Party officials also reviewed possible measures to ensure the movement of workers and caravans if major roads are blocked.
Legal Petition Under Consideration
The Core Committee also discussed a petition filed in court seeking to stop the September 27 march.

Containers and Possible Roadblocks
The meeting also reviewed reports of containers being moved in Islamabad and other areas, as well as the possibility of the capital being effectively sealed off.
Party leaders discussed how workers and caravans could move towards Islamabad if the government places containers on roads and blocks major routes.
The leadership is considering different arrangements to deal with possible road closures and other restrictions.
