The True Post (Web News) At least 21 people, including 15 police personnel, were killed in a deadly attack at the Kohat Police Lines in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday.
According to officials, an explosives-laden vehicle struck the compound near a mosque during Friday prayers. The blast was followed by gunfire as armed attackers attempted to enter the police facility.
More than 80 people were reported injured, with several in critical condition. Security forces launched an operation inside the compound, while rescue teams shifted the wounded to nearby hospitals.
The attack comes amid rising militant violence in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Authorities have launched an investigation into the assault and the group responsible.
