Pakistan has launched a counter-attack against India after Indian missile attacks on Pakistani air bases. Security sources say that Pakistan is currently retaliating against India and several targets in India are being targeted. According to security sources, Pakistan has also destroyed the Brahmos storage site in the Beas area and the airfield in Pathankot. Earlier, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry had said in a late-night briefing that India fired missiles at three air bases in Pakistan and the air defense system thwarted India’s missile attacks. DG ISPR said in a late-night press briefing that India targeted Nur Khan Air Base, Mureed Base and Shorkot with aircraft. India fired air-to-ground missiles.
DG ISPR said that some Indian missiles fell on the air base but there was no damage, most of the Indian missiles were destroyed in the air and all the assets of the Pakistan Air Force are safe. According to the Pakistani army spokesperson, the air defense system foiled the Indian missile attacks. It should be noted that after the Pahalgam attack, the Indian army carried out a cowardly attack in the dark of night between May 6 and 7, targeting the civilian population in the Kotli, Muzaffarabad and Bagh areas of Azad Kashmir. Two mosques were martyred along with Muridke and Ahmedpur Sharqia, while 31 Pakistanis, including two children, were martyred. Martyred and 51 were injured in the attacks. After India’s cowardly attack on Pakistan in the dark of night, Pakistan responded befittingly to Indian aggression. It shot down 3 Rafales, a MiG-29, an SU-30 aircraft and a war drone that attacked Pakistan.
