Dr Shekhar Salkar said Nana Patekar sent a message to his friend at approximately 2:30 a.m., informing them that he was unwell. The actor reached out for help, but his friend was unable to see the message promptly because of the late hour.
The message has emerged as a significant detail in the account of the incident, indicating that the actor had begun experiencing health problems several hours before he was taken to hospital. The delay in seeing the message meant that some time passed before his friend could reach him.
His Condition Was Critical When Friends Arrived
According to the doctor, Nana Patekar’s friends arrived at his home at around 4 a.m. At that point, the actor was sweating heavily and was gradually losing consciousness. His physical condition indicated that he needed urgent medical attention.
By the time his friends reached the house, his condition had deteriorated further. Given the seriousness of the situation, they decided to take him to hospital so that he could receive treatment under medical supervision.
Taken to Hospital at 4:30 a.m.
Dr Shekhar Salkar said Nana Patekar was brought to hospital at approximately 4:30 a.m. Medical staff began efforts to save his life after his arrival.
According to the doctor, the medical team tried to save the actor for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. He received medical assistance during this period, but despite the efforts, he could not be revived.
Patekar’s condition was reportedly extremely critical when he reached the hospital. Doctors continued their attempts to save him, but they were unable to do so.
