Pakistan’s Armed Forces Congratulate Nation on 79th Independence Day, Reaffirm Commitment to Defend the Country

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Naval Staff and the Chief of Air Staff extended Independence Day greetings to the nation and paid tribute to the leaders of the Pakistan Movement and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.

In its message, ISPR said Independence Day provides an opportunity for the nation to remember the sacrifices of the past, recognize its responsibilities in the present and renew its commitment to the future.
