Two explosions were heard in Gujranwala this morning, after which the air defense system installed in the cantonment area was activated and an Indian drone was targeted and shot down. According to military sources, these sounds were heard when an Indian drone tried to enter Pakistani territory while flying at a very high altitude, which was shot down by the Gujranwala Cantt air defense system in an immediate action. Sources say that when the drone entered the city’s airspace, the air defense system installed in the cantonment area responded immediately and targeted it.

According to military sources, the operation was carried out near Gujranwala Cantt. According to sources, the Indian drone was flying very high and was approaching Gujranwala Cantt when the air defense system was activated and the drone was shot down by two shells fired by the air defense system. According to police sources, the drone crashed near the nearby village of Danga in Gujrat. On receiving information about the wreckage of the drone, law enforcement agencies including the police reached the spot and the wreckage of the drone was seized from the fields of Pir Jhand village. Further investigations are being conducted to determine the make of the drone. However, there are no reports of any casualties.
