Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari , spokesperson for Iran’s central military headquarters Khatam al-Anbiya criticized the U.S. position in a statement. According to the Iranian news agency Fars , he responded to claims made by Donald Trump regarding possible talks, saying it appears that the United States, plagued by internal divisions, is negotiating with itself.
In a pointed remark, Zolfaghari said the U.S. should not attempt to label its failures as a potential agreement. He emphasized that Iran’s position is clear and unchanged. The statement further warned that until Iran’s fundamental demands are met, neither global oil prices will return to previous levels, nor will stability be restored in the region. The Iranian military spokesperson also warned the U.S. that any action against Iran must be completely abandoned, or the consequences could be severe. He stated unequivocally that Iran will not engage in any compromise with America under any circumstances. His words, “People like us can never walk with people like you, neither now nor in the future,” reflect the deepening divide between the two countries.
