
The True Post (Web News)Pakistan’s High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem inaugurated a special art exhibition dedicated to the works of renowned artist Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi in Mississauga, Canada.
The exhibition pays tribute to the lifelong artistic contributions of Sadequain (1930–1987), a highly distinguished figure in the world of art.
Organized by the Sadequain Foundation in collaboration with local hosts and media partners, the three-day event aims to highlight the depth, symbolism, and cultural significance of his artwork. The exhibition showcases his diverse creative legacy, including painting, Islamic calligraphy, sketches, murals, and Urdu poetry.
According to organizers, the purpose of the exhibition is to present the multi-dimensional talent of Sadequain and to emphasize Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage on an international platform.

The event is expected to attract a wide audience, including art enthusiasts, media representatives, civil society members, and students from various educational institutions such as the Aga Khan Foundation Academy Toronto. Visitors are being given a rare opportunity to directly engage with Sadequain’s artistic expression and appreciate his contribution to global art and culture.
Renowned Pakistani scholar and poet Ashfaq Hussain is also participating in the event. He will share insights into Sadequain’s artistic and literary legacy, offering a deeper understanding of his contributions to visual arts, poetry, and intellectual thought.
