
The True Post (Web News)The first anniversary of Maarka-e-Haq was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Pakistan High Commission in Ottawa, as well as at the Consulates in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. The events paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the services of the martyrs.
The central ceremony held in Ottawa was attended by a large number of members of the Pakistani community, individuals from various walks of life, and representatives of friendly countries.
On the occasion, special messages from the President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister were read out, highlighting national unity, the bravery of the armed forces, and the commitment to defending the country.
Pakistan’s High Commissioner in Canada, Muhammad Saleem, in his address, praised the professionalism, courage, and unwavering commitment of the Pakistani armed forces during Maarka-e-Haq. He stated that during Operation Bunyaan-ul-Marsoos in May 2025, Pakistan exercised its right to self-defense within the framework of international law in a highly effective manner.
He further emphasized that Maarka-e-Haq stands not only as a military success but also as a symbol of national unity, public resolve, and the spirit of defending the homeland.
A special prayer was also offered for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to always remember the sacrifices of the nation’s defenders and to remain united for the stability and security of Pakistan.
