15 Arrested in London Protest Against Palestinian Land Sale Ceremony

 The True Post (Web News) Hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators in London have protested against an event held to sell land and properties in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.

The protesters described the act as a violation of international law and akin to promoting the illegal occupation of Palestinian land. The protesters chanted slogans outside the venue and demanded a halt to the sale of Palestinian land. Pro-Israel protesters were also present during the protest, which led to tense conditions.
According to London police, 15 people were arrested on various charges during the protests. Human rights activists and politicians across the UK objected to the event.

According to reports, about 100 British MPs had called on the government to stop such activities under international law.
British MP Lily Moran of Palestinian origin called the event unacceptable and said that such transactions should not be allowed on British soil. The British Foreign Office also said in its statement that the government opposes the advertising and sale of properties in illegal Israeli settlements, while businesses were warned of the possible legal and reputational consequences of such activities.
