India’s Operation Sindoor Narrative Challenged as ISPR Presents Its Account of the War

The True Post — Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has strongly responded to India’s continued efforts to present its version of the events surrounding Operation Sindoor, saying that more than a year after the “Markah-e-Haq,” India is still avoiding acknowledgment of the actual facts of the conflict.

According to ISPR, an Indian documentary on Operation Sindoor has relied more on emotional narratives and cinematic presentation than on factual accounts, with the apparent aim of portraying the actual outcome of the conflict differently.

Attempt to Rewrite History

ISPR said India is attempting to give the conflict a different interpretation instead of acknowledging what happened during the fighting.

The military’s media wing said the Indian documentary, produced under the title Operation Sindoor, represents an effort to distort facts and offer a new interpretation of the events of the conflict.

According to ISPR, the scenes and claims presented in the documentary appear to be based more on an emotional narrative than on an actual record of the war.

Questions Raised Over the Pahalgam Attack

ISPR also questioned India’s position regarding the Pahalgam attack.

The military’s media wing asked: if the alleged perpetrators of the Pahalgam attack were killed on July 28, then whom did India claim to have punished on May 7?

According to ISPR, India’s claim that Operation Sindoor was carried out as retaliation for the Pahalgam attack does not correspond with its own narrative.

The Pakistani military said this contradiction raises questions over India’s claim that Operation Sindoor was an operation against those responsible for the Pahalgam attack.

Objection to the Claim of 100 Percent Success

ISPR also rejected India’s claim that Operation Sindoor was “100 percent successful.”

According to the Pakistani military, the claim does not correspond with the operational record, while cinematic scenes or propaganda cannot change the actual results of a war.

ISPR emphasized that the outcome of a conflict is determined by documented records, facts on the ground and actual military operations rather than scenes presented in a documentary.

Indian Aircraft Losses

According to ISPR, Pakistan effectively responded to Indian aggression during the Markah-e-Haq and shot down eight Indian military aircraft.

The military’s media wing said Pakistan also targeted important Indian military positions during the conflict, helping to prevent the Indian aggression from achieving its objectives.

According to ISPR, 26 Indian military targets were struck during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos.

Cinematic Scenes Cannot Change Reality

ISPR also criticized the presentation style of the Indian documentary, saying that cinematic scenes and emotional storytelling cannot alter actual military facts.

According to the Pakistani military, the events of a war must be assessed through aircraft losses, attacks on military targets and other verifiable evidence.

Therefore, presenting an event through a cinematic narrative cannot change the actual outcome of a conflict.

Pakistan Does Not Need to Create a Narrative

ISPR said Pakistan has no need to fabricate a narrative regarding the Markah-e-Haq.

According to the military’s media wing, the record of the conflict, diplomatic communications and statements made by Indian officials themselves are sufficient to clarify many of the facts.

ISPR said Pakistan’s position is not based merely on claims but on events that occurred during the conflict and the available record.

Pakistan Reaffirms Commitment to Peace

The Inter-Services Public Relations said Pakistan remains committed to peace and stability in the region and does not want to escalate tensions.

However, ISPR said Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and that there will be no compromise on national security.

Warning of a Decisive Response to Any Future Aggression

ISPR warned that any future aggression against Pakistan would receive a decisive response.

The military’s media wing said Pakistan wants peace but possesses the full capability to respond effectively to any threat to its sovereignty and national security.

ISPR maintained that the facts of a war cannot be changed through cinematic scenes or one-sided narratives, adding that the actual results of the Markah-e-Haq would become increasingly clear with time.
