TEHRAN (The Ture Post) — Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a strong response to recent remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, declaring that Iran will defend “every inch” of its territory at any cost and will never compromise on its national sovereignty.
Speaking during a televised address carried by Iranian state media, President Pezeshkian criticized what he described as Washington’s continued pressure and rhetoric toward Tehran. His comments come amid renewed tensions between Iran and the United States, with both sides exchanging sharp political statements in recent days.
