Following the incident, panic spread in the area. Police, acting on information received about the incident, arrested two men on suspicion of murder while a full investigation into the incident is underway. Police received a report of a man being held at a residential property in Stead Street, Shipley. Police immediately attended the scene where a 43-year-old man was found dead. Police immediately cordoned off the scene and collected initial evidence. Based on the evidence,
the police arrested a 65-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman at the scene. Both men have been charged with murder and are currently in police custody. Police say the investigation is still in its early stages and more details will be revealed after the post-mortem report. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, but police say they are also trying to determine the nature of the relationship between the deceased and the arrested individuals.
