The True Post(Web News) Pakistan has fully demonstrated its technological capabilities at the annual global technology event held in Vancouver, Canada, where companies, investors and experts from different countries participated.
This international exhibition lasted from 11th to 14th May 2026, in which a six-member delegation of top IT companies from Pakistan participated. The delegation presented innovative software and digital solutions developed in Pakistan, which received significant interest from the participants.
Organized by the Pakistan Software Export Board, the event aimed to showcase Pakistan’s technology industry to the world. The Pakistani stall was inaugurated by Consul General Shahzad Hussain, while the Pakistani Consulate in Canada and the Trade and Investment Department supported the delegation in business meetings and networking.
The delegation met with various international companies to strengthen their presence in the rapidly growing technology market of the North American region. The aim of these meetings was to establish new agreements and joint ventures in the areas of artificial intelligence, financial technology and software as a service.
According to government officials, this participation is part of Pakistan’s policy aimed at providing access to global markets for domestic technology experts and businesses to increase exports.
According to statistics, Pakistan’s technology exports to Canada increased by 21 percent during the last fiscal year, increasing from $96 million to $117 million.
