US State Department spokesman Timmy Bruce said in a press briefing that both Pakistan and India are being contacted about the situation in Kashmir and are being asked not to escalate tensions. To a question, Timmy Bruce said that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will speak to the foreign ministers of Pakistan and India today or tomorrow.
